Every spring, MHCC journalism students create Venture, a features-and-issues publication covering topics both on campus and out in the community. This edition of Venture — now in its 27th year of publication — offers seven story packages ranging from a look at one student’s longtime love affair with baseball to the results of a small sexual preferences survey. Venture also had a sit-down with two staff members who are at the heart of student activities and moved off campus to take a crack at exploding long-standing myths of the bar scene.
Contributing to this issue of Venture were students (in alphabetical order) Stephen Floyd, Jon Fuccillo, Christina Hammett and Kelsi L. McKenzie, and advisers Daniel Ernst and Bob Watkins.
